June Monthly Meeting: Jimmy Barfield

June 24, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Jimmy Barfield

The translator of the Copper Scroll

Jimmy translated the copper scroll which was found with the Dead Sea Scrolls.  Never previously translated, Jimmy found the scroll contains an inventory of the temple treasures which were hidden before the Babylonian invasion.  Truly one of the most valuable treasure troves in the world as well as being one of the most important religiously and politically.  Jimmy will update us on the progress made with his digs and ground penetrating radar as well as the political barriers he’s up against.  You can visit his website here.

This is a link to an article about his dig.

Be sure you don’t miss this meeting.
