Foundational Concepts
(which aren’t taught in The Church today)
“Grace is all we need today.” There misunderstandings of grace, our brethren are living in houses built on sand. Grace is frequently a catch-all used to justify lack of study.-
The foundation our understanding is built upon are the two houses and the two Torahs. Understanding prophecy and the reason for the death of Yeshua requires two house knowledge while Paul’s writings frequently involve knowledge of written vs oral Torah.
Professor C.A.L. Totten of Yale University gave profound words concerning first of these crucial subjects:
“I can never be too thankful to the Almighty that in my youth he used the late Professor Wilson to show me the difference between the two houses. The very understanding of this difference is the KEY by which almost the entire Bible becomes intelligible, and I cannot state too strongly that the man who has not yet seen that Israel of the scripture is totally distinct from the Jewish people, is yet in the very infancy, the mere alphabet of Biblical study, and that to this day the meaning of seven-eighths of the Bible is shut to his understanding”.
I thank Mike Clayton for bringing the above quote to our attention.
